A chilly but sunny Donington Park, in Leicestershire, played host to rounds 4, 5 & 6 of the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship. Stockport’s own Tony Hughes, owner of Hughes Safety Showers, had yet another roller-coaster weekend that started off with problems during free-practice. The Cheshire racer’s Toyota Avensis had developed a gearbox oil leak, and the team discovered a broken anti-roll bar. “The car’s got more power now” said Hughes “Swindon engines took it away after the Brands Hatch rounds and discovered some issues, but now we’re on the back foot yet again missing out on vital track time”.
